What kind of pavers are there?

You’ll hear all kinds of terms used for pavers: interlocking pavers, pavingstones.

You may also hear the terms “standard pavers” and “permeable pavers,” Standard pavers will let the water run right over the top. Permeable pavers are designed to capture runoff water. There are vehicle pavers that have small surface area and are thicker, to handle vehicle traffic, such as on a driveway.

Beyond that, pavers are typically identified by their color, texture, and shape.
